Thanks to the following for a great Season 10 (2024)

Season 10, to many people, represents one of the less glamorous PvP seasons in WoW history, with many usual QQ topics such as legendary staves, xLS dominance, human racial, etc., and likely the one legitimate complaint which is the MMR change + lack of reset in early season. Nevertheless, Season 10 has proved to be one of the best times I've had in my 6.5 years of playing WoW (on and off), and I have many people to thank for a wonderful season.

Obviously the most important person to thank is my girlfriend, known in the World of Warcraft as Eriaa/Drayeh. Her patience in putting up with all the long hours I put into PvP (which she doesn't particularly enjoy) which allowed me to progress as much as I did was definitely a factor of utmost importance. Thanks baby for your support! <3

1) My RBG teams: Due to various reasons including burn-out, the change to RBG MMR, scheduling conflicts, and other factors the people I've played RBGs with this season have changed quite a bit from S9. There are too many people to be able to list specifically here, so I will just call out to two specific groups that have been the most significant.

A) My Monday group which later became the PIMP RBG team: You guys are definitely the best on Horde side, thank you for my two 1900 titles and one 1800 title (DK is at 1878... perhaps a 3rd 1900 title on Monday?). Let's go in to S11 strong!

B) Endow groups - Thanks for participating, definitely great to see more participation in RBGs by PvE guilds. Hopefully those of you who are interested are able to break the 1800 glass ceiling next season.

2) My arena partners. Though I really enjoy RBGs, I am afraid after a season of serious arenas that RBGs have been demoted to a close second (but it is very close!) to arenas, specifically 3v3 arena. Here I thank all of the people that have made this a great season of arenas for me (no particular order):

Çloùd/Milkasaurus/Morfeen - Thanks for doing 2s with my paladin and letting me observe how an outstanding warrior plays, and for lending your priest and mage to me to break the 1900 barrier in 3s on multiple occasions. Hope that you have a great early season in a few weeks!

Ramrod (aka Celebrimba) - Thanks for being probably my most consistent and loyal arena partner all season, with over 300 games played together on your pally on my warrior's team. Definitely look forward to a good season 11 together, and grats on your 'honorary' 2k :-P

Granya/Zagatha - Thanks for playing with me on your 2200 druid which eventually allowed me to, for the first time, break 2k on my warrior. It is slightly unfortunate that most people believed we did it with WLS, which is an OP comp and would strongly suggest I got 'carried' by the lock/shaman, which I guess is at least half true (Kijamero is a 2200 shaman after all), but let it be known that it was kitty cleave, not WLS, that broke the 2k barrier!

Kijamero/Pacifika/Vadera/did I play with any of your other toons? - Thanks for playing with my warrior in 2s and not bailing on long games (*cough* Slumpbuster). It was a great experience to play with a very strong healer. Also thanks for the final push you put in (all 4 hours of it) to push my warrior over 2k.

Slumpbuster - Thanks for doing 2s with me in early season, and teaching me some stuff about holy pally healing, as well as carrying Kurrs and I to 2k on my DK. Also, another reminder that I would've paid more than triple for what you sold the guild for... ~_^

Kurrs - Thanks for pushing my DK over 2k.

Ácheron - Thanks for the many comps and many toons you've played with me over the season, hope you have a great S11.

Karnnage - Thanks for the games, even if they were mostly to screw around. Hope you have a great season next season.

Achelis - Thanks for the attempts at KFC, hopefully we can do something next season, DK maybe?

And a special thanks to the following two individuals;

Flowcat (aka Arkesh; both toons no longer on server) and Bblhrth: You guys are what got me started in serious arena, and as such our initial push to 1942 will forever be a significant memory in my arena memoir. Flowcat, wherever you are and whatever you are doing best wishes to you, and Bblhrth let's get you pumped and ready for S11!

For those that are not explicitly mentioned but have played with me this season, thank you for contributing to my overall experience this season and hope that our paths will cross again.

Thanks for reading, and hope you all have a great season 11!

Thanks to the following for a great Season 10 (2024)
